Ashton Court, Bristol. Summer.
A manor house and 850 acres of woodland, grassland, deer park and formal gardens designed by Humphry Repton. It was purchased by Bristol City Council in 1959. The grasslands are managed to encourage meadow flowers and the formal gardens near the house are cared for by a team of volunteers working alongside the council’s Parks and Estates team.
