Bay House
Located on the edge of Lyme Regis, Bay House has a small sloping garden that makes the most of its far reaching views over countryside and sea. Designer Alice Meacham has built an elegant set of terraces filled with coast tolerant planting, and a network of paths connecting several seating areas and a gravel garden on multiple levels. The grassed switchback path to the lower lawn is a particularly pleasing access solution on this steeply sloping site.

The owner would probably prefer not to be photographed but the designer would be happy to provide a portrait if required and would be the person to interview about the garden. This garden has not featured in the press before, but as this picture set was originally commissioned by the designer, some of the pictures do appear on her website. There is no specific writer linked to this photo set. There are no conditions agreed with the owners and they have no plans to move any time soon.
