A wooded, hillside garden of approx 1/2 acre near the Jurassic Coast that has been developed by the owners over the past 20 years. Mixed borders surround the mid-century house and various Rhododendrons provide splashes of early season colour. There are also wilder margins with longer grasses, ferns and self seeded flowers. More recently, as mobility has become a challenge for the owners on this steep site, the garden has been adapted with the help of designer Alice Meacham. A level terrace incorporating a small pond was built so the owners could continue to enjoy the peaceful woodland setting with easy access from the house.
