Special Plants Nursery. Late Summer.
Set within an idyllic valley just north of Bath, this garden and nursery contains a wealth of unusual and special plants and cultivars. The soil is mostly clay which has been improved with regular mulching over the past 25 years, but nearer the house are areas of gravel for plants that prefer free drainage. The garden is open on Tuesdays throughout the summer (see www.specialplants.net)
